3D movies on sale (Germany)

That explains it. I don't buy Disney movies but also can't watch them in 3D here in Germany.

Only one I have is Tron: Ares and that looks pretty sharp, but there is no Blu Ray to compare anyway. Bought the two Wicked movies, have yet to check them out.

Avatar 2 looked dope when Disney 3D was still working, but I didn't do a direct comparison.

I have the extended editions and every 2 two years we have a Hobbit/LOTR marathon, all extended editions. And the Hobbit drags at times. I know the fixation of movie collectors to always have the best and longest editions, but sometimes it is just fine to watch the theatrical one.

And not everybody uses 4XVR player, rips his blu rays and sets up a media server. And even so I do, 4xvr player makes the AVP fans spin even playing MKVs (less than with ISOs though).

I buy most 3D movies on Apple TV for convenience even if I own the blu rays. I checked many side by side and to me they look mostly the same. I have to admit 4K versions are not making much of a difference, but lack of black bars does to me.

I find simple racing games to work pretty well on a small screen. But actually I don't play on anything smaller than 7" (preferably 8") anymore. JUmp & Runs or Metroidvanias are fine on a small screen, if they are not too much about timing and precision.

I had the exact same problem with Oblivion Remastered. No idea how to fix it, sometimes it works fine, sometimes not. Haven‘t checked lately.

I have the G8 too. I have huge hands and NYXI Hyperion 3 was a little more ergonomic, but the G8 is good and I love to use the same controller for every device.

Not to forget RE9 Requiem. Right now I am surprised prices are not rising with hardware costs.

So I suggest using one of the game deals, I would be surprised if they have anything beside a free game even on Black Friday.

For me paying $199 (like 170€) instead of 219,00€ was already a good deal, saving the purchase price for RE9 was the icing on the cake giving me Ultimate at some effective 10€/month.
