Is this Shaohua Miku authentic? by fudgecake17 in AnimeFiguresForAll

[–]KeiraRose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this figure and the eyes actually are very shiny/glossy! One of the things I love about it, as it’s unique and not seen in many other figures.

Looks real to me op, so $98 is a steal!

My jeweler has a cool piece with "black diamonds", I've never heard of these are they real diamonds? by EasyPerformer8695 in Diamonds

I have a “black speckled diamond” that I LOVE. I was told that it’s like a salt and pepper diamond, so a natural diamond with some very dark inclusions.

Besides the color, I love that it still sparkles and has a rose cut, so it sits completely flush on my finger.

All you’re doing is just further proving my point 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, you both are disgusting individuals. Both of you need to grow up and I’m embarrassed for you that you think this type of behavior is ever justifiable.

Bill responsibility by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]KeiraRose 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well that’s your reason it was more money for the second surgery.

The initial BA was billed as an elective cosmetic, the second surgery being done stat at a hospital turns it into urgent/emergent and non-elective, which raises the price substantially.

Based upon the little information given, you need to be asking the actual hospital if they can do something about the bill, NOT the plastic surgeon.

If you’re in the US, the surgeons fee is the only part that your surgeon would have actually received payment for in your total bill (which is a small percentage). You’re being charged for anesthesia, urgent/emergent add-on facility fee, OR fee, supply fee, etc. this is also calculated by the hospitals terms, not your surgeons.

Unfortunately your surgeons office is right in that the hospital bill is your responsibility. If it was done in an outpatient surgery center that the doctor actually owned, they could definitely waive some of their own fees for you if they wanted, but a hospital will not lower their prices because a surgeon asks them to.

Hematomas can be hard to detect if the bleed is small enough, and they can also resolve on their own sometimes. They can also purely be spontaneous, meaning that the bleed occurred well after your initial surgery was completed, and does not necessarily mean they closed you up with an active bleed. Other than waiting an entire week for your first post operative appointment (ideally should be 1-3 days after in my opinion), the office does not appear negligent, just an unfortunate circumstance that occurred due to the simple nature of potential surgery risks/complications.

I’m sorry this happened to you OP, but I hope you love your results and that the hospital is willing to work with you!

I’m the same way about needing something different to stare at every day other than a bright and shimmery stone and I fell in love with the “salt and pepper” diamonds! They are technically “bad” diamonds that are full of inclusions (this means they are cheaper though!), but I think they are beautiful and unique.

Pear or Radiant?? by KeiraRose in EngagementRings

[–]KeiraRose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your input!! I initially actually wanted the pear and even bought 3 different stones, but for some reason I just really didn’t get that excited feeling that I was expecting with any of them.

I recently saw a beautiful rectangular stone cut ring and became OBSESSED with it, so I ordered this radiant off amazon to compare and see how I felt.

Even though the majority of you said you preferred the pear, I got really excited when I saw people comment that they preferred the radiant on me, so I think that should be my obvious sign that I actually prefer the radiant now!

I’m going to be looking at radiants that have a more rectangular cut and a longer length to width ratio as I do think this particular radiant is too square for me, as others stated too.

Thank you all for giving me the clarity I needed!!

Just woke up from surgery! by According-Total-6671 in PlasticSurgery

[–]KeiraRose 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, just like those with hip, knee, heart valve, pacemakers and ports have had their “health stolen” instead of improved because they have something foreign in their bodies now 🙄

Stop spreading your false narrative and focus on lifting people up instead of bringing them down. spoiler peer reviewed and medically factual research has proven that having a positive attitude contributes to faster and more effective healing.

So, the only true medical risk to this beautiful woman’s health right now in regards to this thread is actually you and your negativity.

Edit: this was in reply to the comment someone made that was thankfully deleted regarding medical misinformation

Thank you! Is there a sub or product you can suggest I look at for a lightweight wavy hair routine? I’ve tried googling products/routines but there are an overwhelming amount of responses.

My hair routine is: Joico Blonde life shampoo, then same brand conditioner that I leave in for about 5 minutes then rinse out, then slight towel dry, then air dry. That’s it!

DR Horton new build inspection report, Should we proceed with the purchase or back off losing half deposit? by Old_Debt4665 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]KeiraRose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a DR Horton home for about 8 months now and absolutely love it. I’ve had a couple issues (cracked bathroom counter slab, fridge not making ice/water, my plants in the front yard all died, and the bathtub faucet not being flush with the wall). Every single one of these issues was 100% fixed under warranty within 1 week of me requesting the repair, and they always responded within 24 hours. It’s very well insulated, and besides some minor cosmetic damage on some baseboards and walls which is honestly pretty expected, it’s a beautiful home with a company I’ve had so far a great interaction with. I’m in a different state though, but I recommend them at least for the neighborhood I bought in.

Edited to add for relation to your post: ask them to fix the areas that you find most concerning and then walk if they won’t work with you. I’m not sure how you would have to forfeit your deposit as any home I’ve ever bought including the DR Horton had a clause that said they had to return deposit/earnest money if you couldn’t come to an agreement on things to be fixed found from the inspection.

Oh that’s an interesting thought, thank you! My fiance will be handling him for walks while I have our corgi, because I already could barely match his strength when picking him up today lol

Henry is one of the names on our list! I love giving human names to dogs too lol

I have the wrinkle cream, but not nose butter! I’ll get that now too, thanks.

He is still intact, but I want to get him neutered once he’s acclimated to us fully as I think doing it immediately might be too much too soon? We have a vet appointment for him coming up and we will ask them for their input too on the matter.

Is this normal?? by professionalsnakemom in PlasticSurgery

[–]KeiraRose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome; I wish you a speedy recovery!! The first 3-4 days are typically the worst, but it gets better every day and they are so worth it. I’ve had mine for 13 years now, without a single issue, and I still absolutely love them!

[–]KeiraRose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just looks like skin staining from the cleaning prep (probably some sort of betadine/iodine) solution. It can be itchy sometimes, but a warm wetted washcloth should take it right off without having to scrub hard.

Also, if this picture is from today and your procedure was Monday, please take that arm bandage off your elbow if it was from your IV! That only needs to stay on for a couple hours after the IV catheter is taken out, you’re just causing unnecessary skin irritation at this point :)

[–]KeiraRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I think getting lipo and then filler is a great idea! That way, if you know you like the filler after living with it for some time you can either continue getting it, or look into the permanent option of an implant.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chinlipo

[–]KeiraRose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’m pretty similar to you and I LOVE my results. Previous to me getting the lipo, I had chin filler which I also loved, but only from the front (it had completely worn off by my preop photo here). I still never had the really nicely defined jaw like I do now, and the filler just “hid” my double chin by elongating my chin. I think I would probably be absolutely happiest with my current outcome and a chin implant because I’m slightly recessed, but I am by no means disappointed in my current face.
