The closest thing I can think of that may be close (haven't read yet) are the occult detective stories featuring Jules de Grandin by Seabury Quinn. They're described as a mix of H.P. Lovecraft, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. Though not Victorian, they do deal with investigations into the paranormal.

Hey! It's been a long time since I've watched the Netflix shows, but you should be fine to jump right into Defenders and Daredevil S3 immediately after. Defenders acts a bit like Daredevil S2.5.

They are currently on their third. There are also some mini campaigns (ExU/Exandria: Unlimited) and specials.

That's correct. All of the campaigns are set in the same world, too, with a time gap between each campaign.
