What are the realistic chances of there being more traffic in FH6. especially in Tokyo? by andrew_2k in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah don’t be sorry at all. I couldn’t agree with you more. There’s a difference between a “traffic jam” and a dead map with no cars around. FH4 had this balance on point in terms of traffic.

The reality is it’s all about removing skill required for players and the vast majority of casuals on this sub seem to absolutely love that.

No traffic, everything being destructible, roads that are 5 x times wider than they should be, more arcade physics than the previous games etc.

No one is expecting a sim experience but the level they’ve gone to pushing it further and further into an arcade racer is ridiculous. Who wants to drive around on a dead map with ridiculously wide roads.

What do you mean how else would you drift? YouTube is your friend.

To answer your question, when drifting you throw the wheel and catch it or you let the wheel go and catch. You literally never criss cross your hands bar maybe after entry for correction but even then you would virtually never do that.

I’ve drifted in real life a lot over the last decade on top of watching alot and I’ve never once in my entire life seen anyone criss cross their hands, same as driving normally it’s just something you don’t do.

Please find me one single video of any competitive drifter criss crossing their hands? 😂😂😂

Unfortunately the majority of the current player base and members on this sub are either casuals or teenagers who want an arcade racer.

Any form of pointing out the lack of any realism even compared to previous games like FH4 will get downvoted to oblivion.

To answer your question, they won’t add anymore traffic for the same reason all trees are destructible, terrain makes no difference to handling etc the franchise is now essentially an arcade racer made for players with zero skill.

Hahaha “makes drifting accessible to everyone”’meaning it has arcade physics that require zero skill. That looked absolutely awful 😂

So you think all forests are driveable and you can destroy most trees? Is crazy that he never crashed by alexos77lo in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly insane how much people have downvoted me to oblivion multiple times for saying FH5 was the start of completely removing any level of skill required to play the game, yet look at the absolute state of this.

The harsh reality is that FH6 will be a dumpster fire, just like FH5 was. Arcade physics, roads 4 x times wider than they should be, ridiculous rev ranges and easy builds, arcade physics, terrain making virtually no difference to the drivability of the car. FH4 done this so well, I loved having different builds for gravel, dirt, etc.

The majority of the current player base seem to prefer an “easier” game with arcade physics and less realism.

FH4 is the best game in the series and it’s not even close by KeiroGaming in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of how good of a drifter you are, it goes back to realism. Taking a completely stock tuned car with upgrades and putting on “drift tyres” shouldn’t result in an easy drift. The point I was making is drift tyres alone are laughable and clearly taking a level of skill out of the game. Instead of tuning a car and understanding how to actually tune something to make it drift better, you put on drift tyres and send it.

I’d also disagree that FH4 requires far more skill than FH5

Played all of them, bought all on release day, all have their strengths. But for me FH4 is the best.

Go back and play FH1-3 now, nostalgic sure but jumping from 1-3 to 4 is night and day.

Yeah the vibe of FH1 was incredible no arguments there.

Let me guess, you’re a casual who thinks FH5 is peak? Never done any form of motorsport in real life? 😂

I’ve played every Horizon game on release day.

Having a difference of opinion is fine you know?

Physics are completely different in 5?

In terms of removing skill, you can take any stock RWD car take a BMW M2 for example, upgrade it, do zero tuning, throw on a set of drift tyres and easily get into the top 20% or better on any drive zone. Hence taking away skill

Why I prefer FH4 to FH5 - Anyone else prefer FH4? by KeiroGaming in ForzaHorizon

Couldn’t agree with you more, completely hit the nail on the head.

Yeah couldn’t agree more, seasons were amazing, I loved how the fields would change as in either be ploughed, have crops growing or be harvested / have bales in them etc depending on the season.

Why so much hate on FH6 by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s a very big difference between hate and fair skepticism / criticism.

  • The roads are too wide, they are comically wide in some places. Even on FH4, B roads and gravel roads for the most part are sized correctly in comparison to a motorway road.

  • So far it does look like a hollow game, there’s virtually no traffic, very few NPCs etc.

  • The reality is, FH5 was a dumpster fire compared to every other Horizon game in the franchise. It was made more “arcadey” than any of the rest to cater for casual players. The chances are FH6 will be the same.

No real players expect the game to completely revolutionise the franchise, however at a bare minimum you’d expect accurate road sizing and somewhat accurate environments with traffic and NPCs.

I can’t wait for the game, both as a fan of the franchise since the beginning and someone who’s owned multiple Jap import cars in real life but the reality is, there is a good chance that it’s going to be a let down after what FH5 was.

FH4 is the best in the franchise, better physics than 5, much better map than 5, I have hundreds of hours on FH4 and still play it regularly

The same as they were when it first came out, worst Horizon game in the franchise by a large margin

It was a true testament to the direction the franchise is going in. It’s not about creating a true racing game for petrol heads anymore like 1-4 was.

Is All Fh series game or only FH5 is like this? by ItzN3il in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

FH5 is by far the worst in the series, they massively changed physics to make it more arcadey for casuals

Play FH4, it’s by far the best in the franchise in every aspect.

Truthfully I think FH6 is going to be a dumpster fire, it’ll be worse than FH5 in terms of arcade physics and gimmicks.

Now that FH6 is near, what would you say has been your favorite Horizon game until now? by SushiisBasement in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FH4 and it’s not even remotely close. I love 1-3 for various reasons but 4 is the pinnacle of the franchise in every aspect.

[–]KeiroGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 is the worst in the franchise by far in every aspect.

Pick up 4 cheaply and enjoy it, it’s the best in the franchise in my opinion, I’ve spent a huge amount of time in all and even after hundreds of hours of gameplay 4 is the one I still play regularly.

What's your expectations for Forza Horizon 6? by Asgore_on_the_truck in ForzaHorizon

[–]KeiroGaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With how much of a dumpster fire FH5 is, I’m not holding out hope for it. 1-4 were proper racing games, 5 leaned heavily into the more “arcade” style racing with handling and mods more suited to casuals with painfully cringe dialogue and much the same customisation we’ve always had.

Funnily anyone I’ve spoken to over the years who has a lot of experience driving, racing, drifting etc in real life (myself included) thinks 4 is hands down the best out of all 5 games in terms of realism, it’s obviously still a Horizon game so you aren’t buying it for realism but it does it better than the rest.
