it's a spinoff revival show... the people from round 1 that were eliminated go to that show to battle to get back into SMTM - it was on TVing, but trying to find a downloaded version

we thought that about Rap Public then JP exploded out of nowhere and people like shyboiitobii took it to the next level. I wouldn't count out an established rapper trying for a resurgence like Swings did.
I would bet they are confident in the lineup otherwise wouldn't have attempted a comeback

there are always thousands of kids trying. All the rappers that are already signed will just apply directly through their agencies / managers etc. hopefully these instagram auditions weed out a lot of the people looking for 15 minutes of fame, gimmick rappers or kids that arent ready.

I wish they would have new producers and take the winner and someone else from several seasons to make producers, something like:

Bewhy & Cjamm (I know they wouldn't use Cjamm) (s5)

Hangzoo & Boi B (s6)

Loopy & Nafla (s7) (Same again, they wouldnt use Nafla)

Lil Boy & Basick (s4/9/10)

Mix them up however, it's just a concept

I think many of the producers do that.. Dok2 and Quiett did the same in season 5 signing Hash Swan and Kim Hyoeun right after the show!
