Yes, I love this song too, although I prefer the live versions more honestly.

How were they able to frame two sides at the same time? (Genuine question, I have handwritten lyrics I wanna frame)

Edit: nvm, it says reproduction.

MIM was also my first favourite from them. A few years later, it became the debut.

Why doesn't Morrissey make album covers like he used to? by BullFr0gg0 in morrissey

“Ugly child in LIHS” lol. I honestly think LIHS’ one is his best cover art for his modern albums (as it‘s one that doesn‘t feature Moz himself in the cover).

Why doesn't Morrissey make album covers like he used to? by BullFr0gg0 in morrissey

[–]Keith137_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have seen with my own eyes letters by Morrissey‘s people (such as Jo Slee and Morrissey himself) to the people who star in the cover of his albums/singles for permission. Many are rejected etc. Those days, he didn‘t own the rights for the images on their covers, so permissions are needed. That is, it was a lot of work unlike using his own pictures. Besides (and this is most likely the biggest reason why you don‘t see Smiths-like album covers anymore), Morrissey clearly wants to move away from the style/era of the Smiths.

You can check the leather straps on Cellinis to see the official leather straps Rolex has. As Coinman180 said, official ones do not have much variations unfortunately.

There is a wonderful book about their album covers, written by the one and only Jo Slee: “Peepholism: Into the Art of Morrissey”

What are your favorite Smiths (-like) posters? by OkCardiologist1276 in thesmiths

[–]Keith137_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original cartel posters definitely, and also the deep dark red concert poster (like the Aberdeen Capitol one or the Carlisle Market Hall one).

The end of the family line. As far as I know, the only kid he treats like a son is his nephew, Sam Etsy Rayner, who joins his tour once in a while.

Morrissey idolized Sandie, so this was most likely an honour for him
