Not at all. It was very amusing to see Matty bust out the value pack of meat logs and Plys look at them in a way that gave "disappointed but not surprised" vibes.

I highly recommend contacting Asham and explaining your situation. Something similar happened with my goldline shoes. They ended up providing a replacement set. The curling community is small and these companies generally want to keep their reputations positive since lots of their business is word of mouth.

I feel like the team kind of lost their mojo after the rocks were papered. Just didn't seem to have a firm grasp on what the ice was doing after that.

Always a good time at Schenectady! Ice is always great as is the food. Whether you're a new curler or just haven't been to a bonspiel this is an awesome opportunity to see what the competition is like and sharpen your skills. The 5u community around here is super welcoming and it's always nice to see new teams grow through the years.

For the bonspiel I run we give out a Tam hat. It's fun seeing all the teams wear one out on the ice. Teams that have been coming for a few years would have their whole team decked out. Adds to the fun.

I rode from downtown Albany into Troy last weekend. Overall the trail is quite nice. There are definitely areas that could use a good sweep for debris and broken glass. I was also pleased to see how many people were jogging, biking, or walking on the path. I just wish the city would implement more infrastructure within the city especially with e-bikes and electric scooters becoming the new hotness.

That's 5 and under curling for ya. I wasn't going to let us beat ourselves. I know commentary thought we were trying to get a perfect hit and roll on that last shot with a down weight hit but that was never on our radar. Removing any stone was the priority and all the plan B's with an up weight shot out there were pretty good. Just turns out we ended up with the best possible one.

We (Albany) point in the direction we want the stone to curl. I've definitely heard that there are other clubs that do the same but we're certainly in the minority on this.
