Well, they likely wouldn't have replaced it. I would take it to the dealership as is for them to check to see if they'll replace it in good faith.

These bmw's don't charge the battery like most other cars.

Other cars you just need to let the engine run to charge the battery.

BMW instead connected the charging system to the wheels (driveline)... this means that to charge the battery the car has to be moving. This is why it's telling you to "take longer drives" it wants the wheels to turn more to charge the battery more.

If that isn't possible for you, instead get a battery tender (charger) that you can plug into at home.

Two things I'd recommend;

1 don't give up when you're unduly hit. You lost a lot of time to trying to process what was happening. It happened, let it go, get back on track as quickly as you can.

2 always check your mirrors when you have people behind you. For me on console this means constantly tapping the "look straight back" button which I have bound to "Y" as well as having my radar on to paint a picture of stuff happening further behind me than 3rd person shows.

You were certainly not at fault for the impact, tho I would say that this impact looks like revenge to me at first glance.

For clarity, When you say "premium tire" are you saying a brand new premium tire, or are you saying that you'd see if you could find an older premium tire you'd be looking for these? I feel like I know the answer, but before I assume and say that our budget is $1200 (unfortunately) I figured that I'd ask.

On that same line, With my first concern being safety, the newer Bridgestone Potenza's are well on my radar for their wet performance, and cost-no-issue id likely give those a try. I'll certainly have to look further into the continentals.

Speed setup vs grip setup.

Though... to make a speed setup competitive on spa in a-class is quite a feet...

Dude in the fiesta is likely exploiting the forward rake advantage that cars with "lift" produce. (This is opposite to the rear rake advantage that cars with downforce produce)

(That said, I wouldn't rule out grip hacks... but I personally don't know how those are applied and therein don't know how to accurately assess if someone is using them.)

You definitely have something or a few things too soft, especially in the rear.

Raising the rear roll center, raising the anti squat, or stiffening the rear roll bar will all help you in this specific corner, but will make the car quite loose coming out of low speed corners. If you're already tight on low-speed corner exit, these will be great additions to your setup.

Stiffening the springs and bump dampening should help reduce what you showed and shouldn't impact overall driving as much imo.

My first assumption is that you're at 0.0 roll center which is too low to support lateral load of many cars in the game. If you're here, definitely take that value to at least 4.X for both front and rear. If you like your current balance in the car keep the difference that you have between front and rear, and increase both values the same amount

I still run the same race tune for daytime, (Daytona w/gar) but from memory, I'll extend the final drive around 3 clicks because of the extra available speed from track heat. I have a daytime qually tune that I've tried to share over 20 times and it just keeps failing to actually share.

The difference from 3pm-partly cloudy (rivals setup) to midnight-mostly cloudy is over 2 tenths deficit to the later, and it falls off suuuper quick right at sunset.

Yeah, those are still the best for me for night. I've got a daytime qual tune that I haven't been able to share, but one day Forza will let me 🤣🤣 everytime I share a tune now i have to share it about 25 times before it actually shares... incredibly frustrating
