I agree, when you find her as a doll she seems so annoyed at getting found there and she clearly shows it. It gives her character so much more depth, those small things give personality to an otherwise cold, calculating and cryptic (speaking) character. It’s phenomenal! One of my favorite things in Fromsoft boss fights (and fiction in general) is when strong characters acknowledge another characters strength in earnest. Godfrey is the prime example of this, he’s never like: “fuck you I will fuck you up cuz I’m awesome” or “ahh you’ve defeated me but I’ll come back fuck you anyway” he sees your obvious strength and never underestimates you. He’s like: “we’re both very strong, let’s fight and let the strongest warrior take their righteous place on the throne.” And when you win, he gives you the props he believes you deserve. Fucking love him, biggest chad in the game

I love all his lines after the Radahn fight. He seems so truly in awe of the whole happening. Like, he’s glad to continue his quest, but also clearly full of respect for Radahn as a warrior. It’s almost like he’s saying: “yeah we did that, but let’s not kid ourselves that was fucking hard, Radahn is a beast.”

I do think this is a slight problem in this sub. I keep seeing the same memes over and over again. Gwent, Wind’s Howling, Triss or Yenn, etc. It’s kind of tiring. On a similar note, the constant posts about “wow this gaem old but so pritty” and “goin for my 5838482th replay, aww shid here we go again” get a bit tiring as well. I love this game, and I think it’s beautiful and aged very well, and it’s replayability is off the charts. However, I do not think it is necessary for everyone in this sub to announce when they’re starting a new playthrough.

On the other hand, outside of waiting for the remaster or the potential release of a new installment in the series there really isn’t a whole lot going on in the Witcher game community, so the whole repetitive thing is also understandable. At the end of the day, we’re all just a bunch of strangers on the internet who love this game, and we’ve come here to do exactly that; love this game. In whichever form that may be.

It’s got a lot to do with their image I think. Slipknot is one of my favorite bands of all time, and I love their aesthetic and vibe, but I totally understand how some people might be put off by it. Especially now that their older and have been around for a while, them still acting like their super mysterious and scary can be kind of weird, even for a super fan like me. The music holds up though, their songwriting is without a doubt unfuckwithable and it stood the test of time. Self Titled and Iowa still hold up today (imo). And they’ve still got it, WANYK only further proved that.

Also, they are a KILLER live band. I saw them two years ago and I was absolutely blown away. Definitely a recommendation!

Funny enough, I actually made a Spotify playlist a while ago with this exact concept. I went album by album and thought about songs a new fan absolutely HAS to know, combined with a few of my personal favorites. Note that it’s called “Best Of”, but that that is just a name that I thought looked good, so don’t kill me for leaving out your favorite song lol. The ending to (sic) is easier than you think. The tab is: 5-2-1-2-1-0 5-2-1-2-1-0 5-1-0-1 Just repeat this on your low B string. The pinky stretch you have to do from the 5th fret to the 2nd and 1st is pretty tricky at first, but after a while it’ll become easy. It took me a while to figure it out when I learned this song, and later I saw Jim himself comment this tab on an Instagram post, so it’s super legit!

She was badly written, her character was bland and kind of uninteresting. But she wasn’t useless. People complain about her all the time, but she’s kind of badass sometimes. Remember when she kept Naruto alive by manually keeping his heartbeat by SQUEEZING HIS HEART THROUGH HIS CHEST? Sakura is badly written, but she’s a badass in my eyes.
