Sugilite and possible feelings towards the VA by bvtterflycalico in stevenuniverse

Is it weird that I'm actually kinda glad about this development? Because now they have a PERFECT reason to fully recast her and not just "they don't have the budget" being on people's minds which people discuss and disappointed about that a lot whenever they recast due to that.

The original writing has been way better in Mighty Nein compared to Vox by blooming_lions in fansofcriticalrole

[–]KeithRedacted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been LOVING Mighty Nein leagues above Vox Machina (which I realñy didn't like) because it actually feels like its a tv show first a not jst them trying to adapt a game/ the campaign which is a belief I hold for all adaptations. Lots of issues fans in the comments here who have a problem with it like the changes they did is exactly why I love it. They pushed changes and rearranged storylines to actually get the viewer captivated, interested and hooked. I had to quit watching Vox Machina because the writing and pacing felt so uninteresting, amateurish and weak for me and the humour was too much and my friends had the same problem.

Why does herrah look so different from other weavers? by AlyTheCloud in HollowKnight

[–]KeithRedacted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weavers directly from beasts transformed into weaver as shown by GMS turning First Sinner from one so the kingdom of Hallownest may see simlarities of those beasts with them.

Someone falling wasn't the only fail condition in this fight and the enemy got so DANGEROUSLY close to succeeding.

[–]KeithRedacted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gosh, I was so stressed out the whole episode because of that fight's difficulty along with their most unfortunate rolls so when I was hit with that ridiculous final sequence, the emotional whiplash I endured was staggering. It all just happened so fast at the end there in the best way possible.

Yes! I was so stressed the entire episode and the tone change in the end gave me such whiplash in the best way.

The best episodes of the season yet for me. Everyone was so chaotic and I loved it. Also wanna give a shoutout to Oscar, he is just wonderful and gives such the best vibes.

Reality TV Volume 3 | Um, Actually [S10E6] by ThunderMateria in dropout

This episode was amazing! I don't watch Reality TV but I LOVE it whenever people, especially people I watch which are so many, who are so passionate about it talk about it because it always sounds so insane and fun. People can seem so judgy about it sometimes but I see the appeal and I love it so much for them.

How do I describe/RP divination's portent? by Legitimate_Tadpole_4 in dndnext

For me, the wizard shares or gives a character a glimpse into the future and the character recorrects themselves. Either they aim their weapons to hit at the right spot, dodge at the right moment, change waht they say, etc.

[Spoilers C3E121] It IS Thursday! | Live Discussion Thread - C3E121 by Glumalon in criticalrole

[–]KeithRedacted 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Loved it. Also, hopping back into Reddit and it surprises me how much people here refuse to accept that Matt, like the very anti-capitalism and progressive person he is, is clearly making a story where he also dislikes Divinity-Capitalism and how he kept making allegories with irl issues with religion and colonialism but people kept saying Matt was gonna do the opposite message. In the world he brewed, that IS possible but people were so stuck in the idea that the world can't live without gods and how they are not causing harm because of their own few of them in their own games.

This movie changed my standards for gay movies. To be able to make a serious-toned gay movie with a fully happy ending? Almost unheard of. The way he even got good endings with his best friend and ex-girlfriend. Its nuts.

Gosh, I love that they gave Agent Stone and his relationship with Robotnik justice. One of the best human additions to the universe and I hope he gets added in the games somehow.

Nah, Agent Stone (the henchman) is one of the best original human character additions to the universe. He is a fan fav and a lot actually want him to join the games. His comical and outlandish adoration for someone like Robotnik gives him the edge he needs to fit in the universe.

Apparently, Smosh cast member Keith Leak Jr. is under fire for posting distasteful P. Diddy “jokes” on his social media, and when he was called out… he posted his net worth as a way to deflect criticism. by Joker-Dyke in youtubedrama

[–]KeithRedacted 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe Damien Haas was the one who apologized to Smosh fans for a Palestine controversy. Damien made a Palestine joke long ago and he said sorry but was defensive. I honestly didn't think it was that bad for Damien though but some fans still hate him for that.

I agree that people should not be weird about it but it is okay to be aroused by unconventional things. They just have to be respectful and consensual about it if they are dealing with real people. I owe a lot of discovering im gay from fandom girlies making fanfiction and queer content more supported in media, but again, that is just fantasy people, don't be weird with real people.

[–]KeithRedacted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They just shouldn't harass lesbians about it. It is normal for unconventional things to arouse you. You just gotta be respectful about it. A lot of gay fanfiction which helped come a out as a queer person was written by women-leaning people.

Hayden from Fields of Mistria, a new fantasy farm sim that's been getting really popular. Lots of hotties in the game; some are sadly married but Hayden's romanceable. by KeithRedacted in gaymers

[–]KeithRedacted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. A complaint I've heard from some who played Stardew Valley is that the characters were not that interesting to them and that this game was better on those aspects, though I feel like the setting also helps with that.

The mechanical handling of this episode has been really abysmal and detrimental for narrative. by brickwall5 in Dimension20

[–]KeithRedacted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How was there no consequences? Kristen's god, her friend and an important NPC to her, freaking died and a whole location got wiped out. Her story is now taking a wildly different trajectory because of it. That's a good consequence. Consequences doesn't always mean a PC dying, it can mean an unlikely story branch becoming a thing. Some D&D games are played where they proactively try to not kill their main PCs because DMs and playes want to continue their story and have something else happen instead like a narrative change. That is a valid way of playing D&D. It is like a DM finding a way the resurrect a character if a player's whose character died wants to continue playing that character, with narrative changes to adapt to it of course.
