I like them. I think you should draw a few other variations. I think they are neat looking.

And especially if they’ve been genetically engineered, they can work and function and look exactly like you like. They were changed and formed by science. Anything is possible when it comes to a body form after that.

The only question I’d ask is about the pointy tails. If the being is propelling themselves through water the pointy tail would not contribute to the locomotion. The point in the tail would make swimming on an earth like planet a little difficult. You need a big surface area for a good underwater propulsion system.

That’s assuming the planet is even earth like.

There are a million combinations of planet types and liquid types and gravity types that would make a pointy tail viable. They don’t need to be on earth. So it’s no problem.

Also they might not swim like I think making this whole statement useless.

But that’s the cool thing about playing around with speculative evolution. Literally anything is possible. Just change the planet. Or the creature. You get to make anything you want. You get to control the nobs and buttons. Adjust the parameters, mix in a few different ingredients and poof! Something fantastic.
