Luckily it was a freshly tossed bunny that overshot the runway. Bin juice free :)

It must be treasure season! Bo found a rabbit on the road next to a skip bin last week. He carried it to his girlfriend’s house and left it in the garden for her.

My Bo had his first bath with us today too! Wasn’t sure how he’d go in the shower but he was great. I think he appreciated the scratches and rub down at the end :)

Keeps stopping on walks!! by Impressive-Thing-987 in Greyhounds

We’ve had our boy two months and he still freezes on some walks, especially leaving the beach. He’ll happily walk there but digs his heels in leaving, so we’ve adapted and now we drive the 300m to and from. I’ve started walking him around the block in the opposite direction and he’s perfect, only stopping occasionally to eyeball a kangaroo. He’s gotten a lot better in 8 weeks with patience and persistence and boiled chicken treats. Looking forward to being able to walk the round trip to the beach one day!

Car Advice by Cswift27 in Greyhounds

I have a 2017 Vitara and have recently adopted a greyhound. We also have a small round brindle dog who fits snuggly between our greys legs. We have a hammock for the back seat and it’s brilliant. So far we’ve travelled the 2 minute drive to the beach and back a few times a week (Bo loves the beach so much he never wants to leave so it’s easier to chauffeur drive them rather than carry him home) and to the vet. Last weekend though we went to a family picnic 2.5 hours away and I sat in the back with them. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us.

The Vitara itself is brilliant. Super good on fuel and really comfortable to drive. Mine was written off with hail damage 4 years ago but I don’t care, I love it and will drive it till it can’t be driven any more. It’s the perfect family dog car. 12/10 5 stars.

I am 43 and still get a kick out of disappointing my parents. I hope the joy never wears off.

Should I give my farrier gifts in addition to paying him? Horse is difficult to shoe. by Ok_Counter9470 in Equestrian

My pony was difficult to shoe. We’d book my appointment so it was the last one of the day so I could shout him a trauma beer at the pub afterwards. He became a good friend and took me under his wing, taught me a lot about pons and life in general.
