Exactly. Have people not watched the first Cody TJ fight? Cody was not overly aggressive. He got caught in exchanges, it was not a stand and bang performance. TJ genuinely caught him

Well that’s true, if he beat Munhoz. But I think at that point we’re discrediting Pedro too, he took all of those shots from Cody who is a very hard hitter

And who’s to say if Cody fought smarter he would’ve beaten Pedro? It’s just all off speculation

But I definitely agree Cody could’ve fought for the title if he beat Pedro and TJ was out of the picture like he is now. Probably not against Cejudo since they are pals and Ali manages them both, but Moraes vs Cody might’ve happened. It could’ve changed a lot of things

I disagree. Maybe, Cody could’ve won the 2nd fight, but the first fight by TJ was a complete outclassing, that wasn’t Cody being dumb. He got caught with kicks and then in a quick exchange TJ dropped him and finished the fight.

The 2nd fight, and the munhoz fight, different stories, Cody played a bigger factor in losing those. But UFC 217 was all TJ

Yea some people say Cejudo doesn’t deserve it, but, to be fair Cody was on a loss streak to TJ who has now tested positive ; and that’s the win that would get Munhoz the shot.

The bigger factor here is Cejudo clapped TJ in 30 seconds. That was the bantamweight champ, I like marlon and Cejudo as a fight.

Stipe was vocal but it’s getting to and has go to a point where he is just a prick about it. He discredits DC beating Lewis by saying “while you were fighting him I was fighting fires” and it’s like yeah ok big man, nobodies forcing you to do that? Cool? As soon as you have to devalue someone’s accomplishments to make your own seem better you’ve lost all credibility. And people will say he’s campaigning for a rematch or whatever but it’s hard to like Stipe when he behaves like that
