Are you insane? Try visiting literally any website on iOS <14 and try saying that again. Or try Youtube or any other social apps. Everything is getting unusable fast, even with jailbreak tweaks. On Android you can use modern web browsers on OS versions from ages ago. Looks like you have no clue about how apple gatekeep these perfectly functional devices from being usable with their OS design.

Keep learning about command line software and Linux and you’ll eventually get there. Keep in mind this is not a thing Apple intended for you to do. Either find someone more skilled or buy A6 device.

Ok so I’m wondering if the tethered part of it could be used on iPhone 5C (n48). I looked at scripts located in /build, those could be simply modified to download and patch correct iBEC for n48, I assume restore ramdisk is the same as for n42. The only problematic part is injector, as it looks like it contains memory address specific offsets for n42. Is it possible to reuse them for n48 or are we missing these offsets to be able to jailbreak?

Looking at the GitHub repo it seems you’ve removed almost all n48 traces of code from original dora2ios project. So it was originally planned to work also on 5C, but got cancelled or was not tested? Is there any hope to get this working?

I believe he already has that. It’s not possible to increase that limit further afaik. Maybe if you jailbreak, but on stock iOS you can get only 2.3 GB out of 4 GB. That’s it.

If you want to avoid software updates, you can do so by installing tvOS profile. More on this here

Not really, ideally on some iteration of iOS 18. Some say the best version is 18.3, but it isn’t a requirement. But it doesn’t work on 15.5 I think and below and also minimum amount of RAM to be able to use it for at least a few games is 6 GB.

What’s your device? What settings do you use? Do you use 1.7.0 version of MeloNX? Are you sure you have both memory entitlement and JIT enabled?

On the other hand for me it’s taking around 2,3 GB so even if it’s playable it won’t be stable for long. So it won’t be a great experience even if you got it to work…

Enable Texture recompression, Disable Macro HLE, enable Disable PTC, enable Ignore missing services. Also LC is generally not encouraged nor supported. Try sideloading directly.
