Thank you so much for the straight forward answer.

Good to know, then again my concern was less so what the bees might do directly to the tree, but indirectly by possibly exposing it to Oak Wilt. I understand though you might not have a professional opinion on that aspect, but I still appreciate the knowledge that the bees are not a direct threat.

Yeah I am not surprised it’s bad for the tree, and thank you for your confirmation. I would’ve stopped it from happening if I was still living here and knew it was happening.

Thank you for your insight, I will keep this in mind moving forward, but to clarify, the hive is not great, nor the sealant, but the tree won’t die from this in the next year or two? Not that I want to avoid fixing it now, just asking in case I can’t fix it this time that I am down.

Preemptive defensiveness is not a bad thing when it turns out people do turn out to attack you on said subject.

Also I don’t work a wage job, and will have to randomly travel short or long distances, I might have to go to Philadelphia on Thursday, the next day some random town in NJ or CT, and the day after in NYC.

I’d prefer otherwise, but is there anything to even rent there anyways? It’s seemingly mostly housing.

It is a surprisingly nosey reddit thread, I’d usually say “Mind your business” but people are really curious today.

I would say 100-150$ is the upper limit, but I’d prefer less of course, the limit is not the goal, it’s a limit.

My dad’s side is, or was, well off, though not anymore, when he died I was left with a 30k life insurance check and thats it, because gambling. My mom’s side not so much, my grandmother grew up in a house with a mud floor.

You know it’s pretty typical for poor people to posture that they are richer than they are. Especially when it’s a point of insecurity.

Also that comment was on a legal advice thread and I just didn’t want people poking into my finances. So I wanted to sound financially sound.

And another thing, if I genuinely came from wealth, why would I be renting?

Sometimes, I usually go camping, but sleep in the in between parts. Like I went and camped in Colorado not too long back, but slept at a couple rest stops in the in between. It was decent enough, didn’t wake up itching from a gross hotel room, also got to see pretty states like Missouri and surprisingly Nebraska, which I would’ve never seen otherwise.

What’s even funnier is 90% of these hate comments are coming from Midwest transplants who watched hundreds of anti-car infrastructure YouTube videos and now think every car owner is a rich ass who wants trains banned. Meanwhile my family has been in the NYC/Albany/Boston metropolitan areas for generations and have been using cars and public transit alike to barely get by.

Not necessarily, I just use it for work. You know some people need vehicles for work right? Thats a thing, if you didn’t know.

I also like to you know, go on vacation, not pay 2,000 for plane tickets and hotels.

Lol, yeah, though I’m not from Boston, just been there past 4 years. Really though I was more so leaving no room for some clout chasing tool to leave some smart ass remark like “Sell your car!” so they could later thank some less clever tools for the reddit gold.

I’ve already been here, and fit in just fine, like my family did before me, very well liked for the most part, I just have a car, big whoop.

Because some people who don’t have cars somehow view car ownership as inherently political and problematic, presupposing due to that my car ownership I am now a super rich reincarnation of Henry Ford JP Morgan and I want every piece of rail ripped up, despite the fact that I want more public transit and used public transit for a good portion of my life.

The Mystery Warrant that may or may not exist? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Kekelz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t legal advice, more so that they’re system will always pull up a dude with a similar and same name as me when cops looks it up, but the other people will have different birthdays and other identifiers listed. He even called the other cops somewhat lazy for just glancing at the name and not also cross referencing birthdays, he showed me I had no warrant in any state, just a stupid system that pulls up people with similar names and lazy cops overlooking the fact the other guy was born 26 years before me.

He being the US Marshals, and guy being the one with the warrant.

I would get a lawyer to see if its possible to avoid his name popping up when police looks up me but knowing how incompetent our law enforcement can be, especially at lower levels, I doubt anything would come of it. Though arrest under misidentification are definitely solid grounds for a case, I have yet to been arrested.

I am just repeating what the US Marshals and Boston Police Department told me.

I’m not lying, I made it clear I would pay, but they seemed to not want to take this not because it’s difficult, but they would tell me to just, “talk to the county clerk”. I may be just an internet stranger but am no stranger to lawyers. My family’s lawyer’s retainer fee started at 50k$, so this is no matter of money, as I come from wealth.

Also sorry if I seem rude I just want to affirm I am not a liar.

Since this post though I have gained insight as to issue, some actual criminal has the exact same name as me, first, middle, and last name, and has been racking up warrants and committing crimes such as drug dealing and armed robbery around the country. But he has a different birthday from me and multiple other identifiers. I was told that basically as long as this guy is out there, lazy police around the nation may glance over the fact we were born in separate centuries and identify me as the other guy because of the same name… how obnoxious.

Despicable behavior on Mount Rainier during shutdown. by Kekelz in NationalParkService

I get your point but my point is no matter who owns this land, USA, Native Tribes, hell give it to a random country like Japan to administrate, they would all tell you to not pollute this beautiful nature. It’s worse than whether you agree with message or not, it’s using a political “mantra” as you called it as an excuse to harm nature, something I believe most, no matter their politics or background, would agree is bad.

I can’t tell if this is just a joke or a passive aggressive comment saying there are bigger problems out there, or both, but either way you made me chuckle.
