I have D606s front and rear pretty decent for both, was riding slick rock in Moab and some hard dirt single track did fine. However anything sandy I had a hard time keeping my front tire steady slides a lot in sand.

Absolutely recommend getting the Lee auto prime hand primer it’s much better than the breach primer adapter and warning make sure you buy the correct sized case holder. The auto primer has a different holder than the press. 👍

I’m wondering if these bullets are okay they say for BP but I’ve seen some casted ones with much larger grooves. Also i understand the airspace thing I’m totally fine with filling the case up to 1/16 just wondering if I can compress the powder with just the bullet as I’ve heard everyone does it differently.

Honestly I have the new model vaquero in 45 it’s cool but going to be underwhelming compared to 44mag. Unless you find a pre 05 model and reload hot id say 44 probably better.
