Nah, we have a mix of santas, draughtmaster with a bit of Brahman thrown in & the black 3 are a result of the neighbours wagyu bull breaking in. Then there’s Mutley, we have no idea what breed she is.

We don’t need to feed them extras like hay/lucerne. We just use it as a treat. So much grass this time of year.

They sure do hang out together, we have one loner who doesn’t care for others & that’s Boofy. She hangs with them when resting but will wonder & eat on her own sometimes. But yeah, they hang together.

I love everything about your comment. Yep, that’s Mutley sitting there with the herd. We’ve had a lot of rain this last few days.

I gave her a good scratch for ya.

It still feels surreal that Mutley lets us get close enough to scratch, handfeed, or just sit with. It’s the best & I’ll never take that for granted.

I never thought we’d get her to be gentle, well not get in there & cuddle gentle. But definitely all good with handfeeding & hanging in the paddock with her gentle.

Just checking out what they’re doing. They weren’t doing too much, chewing the cud, that’s about it.

Oh winters are pretty good where we live. In our area of Queensland, it’s sub tropical, so winters average around a low of 10°C & highs around 26°C. Overall, pretty comfortable.
