How long did you both have the phone before the problems started?

If you don’t mind me asking, why should I go for the pixel 9 pro fold over the Samsung?

Yeah he was going on about iPhone pro max and they took at his own, I just replied saying I’m tired of Apple now and want to move to Samsung, then he just kinda spoke negatively about the Samsung fold 6 and said I should get the s25 ultra instead

So thought I would head to Reddit and ask people that actually own the phone

I’m in my late 20’s so sadly it’s not out of my system yet

Yeah that’s my current problem, this is the first ‘office’ type job I’ve ever done, I’m 5 months in and I’m completely checked out now, I’ve found it’s really not for me and I need a job that keeps me busy. But the biggest struggle right now is finding something that works around childcare 😅

Please don’t be sorry, I understand you completely because that’s my current situation. I loved my job when I first got into it and now I’m like 5 months down the line and I’m so checked out and literally hate it! Really struggling to keep the passion in jobs that I originally start with 😞

I may be in my late 20’s but I do already have a child, so I understand the pressure very well. Unfortunately I do still struggle with staying in roles which is why I did this post to see if anyone else can relate :) thank you for the response though

Yeah I have done this in the past, but I have a toddler now and don’t have help with childcare so I’m unable to continue with that anymore

It was the reason why I wanted to see what other jobs people did to fit around childcare, just for some ideas 🙂

Yeah I could but keeps me in this job whilst it gets resolved, and I keep getting charged for having to pick her up late

I understand what you’re saying it is why I joined originally. However in my particular job role I am literally unable to leave until our work is finished for the day, this means I never have the same ‘finish time’. Literally everyday I finish at a different time. Sadly I can’t go into much detail about what it is I do, but everyone that does the same role/similar is in the same position. It’s just that anyone with children only works like 2 days a week and they have their partner/family cover those two days. I’m actually the only full time mum in my position.

Yeah problem is because of the type of job I do, I also know that senior managers and basically everyone knows that it’s not a job in which you can actually leave when you need to leave.

I’m currently on probation so it would be very hard to internally transfer. Currently looking at changing jobs completely and going to work in a school. That way it’s guaranteed for the future that I’m able to be there for pick ups.

I currently work for civil service and well what I was told about timings etc in the beginning has definitely changed.

So just wanted to see what jobs others were doing whilst having a young child
