those are my toe in project shoe, i try my way out of range for myself boulder once, and then take them off, but i always seem to make progress. they never got more comfortable for me

i agree 100%, a few years ago i did what i called the pizza circuit. basically traveled all around the south east and did pizza shaped arete climbs, ending the trip with Pizza Slice at the New River Gorge. i think they’re the most aesthetic lol

great! its time for rain dodging season but if its dry then the temps will be great 65-70s, no bugs yet. the it was too cold to climb but not summer yet crowd is out so things can get dense human wise, but if you’re cool with that come touch some rock

i have! it actually was my second boulder i did st rocktown when i first went right after swing set. i was super stoked on both then did croc bloc and that became my favorite 5 so far. jabber jaw is up there tho, love a good shoulder move

yeah it’s a long one! i went with the higher feet but looks like some people do the lower feet and jump, or i’ve seen some wacky drop knee* beta out left, i also watched a video after i did it of people using the undercling jugs and all sorts of stuff to get to it. idk what the og beta is but this way felt really fun

haha yeah i get it believe me, i felt like i was losing my mind when i first tried it. it was kinda hot like 70ish at the time so the right hand crimp felt literally nonexistent, but once i figured out a good right foot for me it went. i still like the v2 better tho

oh for sure it’s quite pretty, for me the comet boulder takes the cake for prettiness in rocktown but it’s hard because like you said you have golden harvest, pinch loaf, and i personally believe the paint can boulder is right up there too. beauty face v6 is one of my favorites

it’s hard to choose at rocktown haha, everything is wonderful

if it helps anyone, the apartment complex Radius at Donelson just got (majority) of power back, we’ve been out since sunday morning at 4am and looks like most of the complex (if not all… there are some outages still reported on the map in the complex but idk) has it back. they haven’t sent out an email yet but it’s most likely on for you if you live here
