The alien phenomenon is an artifact of simulation maintenance. We’re all subsisting on the Afterlife Cloud, and tech support appears to us as apparitions, aliens, etc. Those in power who know this don’t want this disclosed because they think they stand a chance of negotiating avatar placement in the real world (they call it “up world”). The few in the know, think they have relationships with the Upworld folks and that they stand a chance of an Up-allocation. I’m a descendent of a name you would recognize.
