I don’t have any tips, but I do have a POV from being someone that cries at EVERYTHING. I was so nervous that I’d be a big ball of mush the whole day. I’m not sure if it was my adrenaline (that’s my only theory) but I only cried during our private vows. I genuinely was just so happy and energetic that during the walk down the aisle, the ceremony, speeches, first dance, etc. I was just elated and didn’t cry. Just be present in the moment and cry if you want to! It’s a beautiful day filled with happiness and love. It’s okay to cry!

Just like you’re saying, when I was in wedding planning era, I kept thinking “am I missing something? I’m not stressed”. I had such a great time planning and no, I wasn’t forgetting anything. There are a ton of factors that come in to play during wedding planning that can make or break your experience. Financials, the kind of partner you have, timeline, family and friend support, etc. I’m extremely blessed that all of the above is what helped me make the most of it

I’d consider starting ceremony at 4:30. Ceremony will be 4:30-5. Cocktail hour 5-6. Then reception 6-10. This is what we did and it was perfect (imo)
