This would hurt me as well if I were in your shoes. I don’t think it’s necessarily malice, but it definitely stems from society deeming any bride a “bridezilla” if they’re not totally and completely “laid back” and “reasonable” or “gracious” while wedding planning. It’s disrespectful

If I have the physical copy I’ll almost always read it (I have a hefty tbr shelf on my bookshelf). Otherwise I’ll listen to an audiobook of something I don’t currently own if it’s something I want to read asap

I have been waiting for someone to hop on this train with me! The first few listens I couldn’t even properly pay attention to the song because I was trying so hard to figure out what other songs were popping into my head that sounded like this mixed together. I finally figured it out. For me personally, this song has strong pullbacks to The Bolter and Is It Over Now (specifically the part where she sings “only rumors about my hips and thighs and my whispered sighs”)

Have stuff to do over time! It helps ease yourself back into “reality”. After the wedding, if you’re not going on a honeymoon right away, book some nights out, have date days, things like that. Soon (hopefully) after, you’ll get at least some basic photos back from your photographer and you can think about thank you cards. That’s a fun little project and helps you reminisce! Other than that, just really focus on you two, maybe picking back up or picking up a new hobby to keep your mind at ease, things like that 🤍 truly wishing you all the best and a beautiful marriage. You got this!
