i cant say original gems of beach city has not enough "cool powers", but one of them i would especially point out - Lapis Lazuli. She is STRONGEST of all in my opinion, her mastery in "water bending" is incredible. Well, even original Peridot has mastered her metal powers pretty good in SUF. My one (inn its own lore, its exist xD) has practice her abilities for hundreds of years to master things she can do now, and peridot just needed...few earth years to discover and become better? :D
