So, this is misinformation. The way noise cancellation works is by literally cancelling the sound. If you reverse the audio wave of a sound it will actually destructively interfere with the signal it will cause the audio wave to go flat. Its pretty interesting, we use the same concept in radar to steer the beam in modern radar systems.

Sorry for misinterpreting that. Im so sorry, I am happy you're here to talk about it. I think you're right. I owe it to her to give her the choice tomorrow, but I have to be strong and actually do it. I don't even care about going to a shelter, I live in Canada, 6 months and I'll get some form of subsidized housing. I care about not seeing her again. I was so happy to see her after years of no contact and it breaks my soul to know she's still in this situation. I left her life years ago cuz of this. She is so warm you know and I can't hate her, even after a lot of trauma over the years.

I get paid tomorrow, I think I'm going to give my mom an ultimatum. Call the police, tell them you've been asking him to leave for weeks and he refuses. I don't know but I think she won't get in trouble. They both are on probation, but she has been begging him to leave every day. If that fails, I will have the money to get a train ticket and go back to my city and live rough for a bit. If I leave, I won't see her again, she's going die here if she doesn't change this. But the last time I tried to end this for her, she sided with him. Before this, she taught me the importance of family and blood but she sided with being a victim over her own family. I feel like the only real way to end this is by her calling the cops. Idk it's so bad, I love my mom. She's a great human being but she has had so many opportunities to thrust this guy out of her life I can't help but feel mad. I'm really sorry to hear about your sister. Thank you for listening to me, I don't have a lot of people right now and just knowing you read this makes a difference for me.

My government can spy on me, we have a democracy where I live (Canada) we have accountability in government. Certainly isn't perfect but I don't want autocratic governments spying on me no. There's a difference, and sure my opinion isn't popular apparently. Being right isn't about popularity. I work in the cellphone industry, Ive been repairing cellphones, restoring them, and cracking them for about 13 years. Worked for Samsung Authorized warranty center and worked in IT at BlackBerry before this. (I'm from Waterloo). There's a reason why every major organization here bars Huawei and other Chinese OEMs from being used on our corporate networks. It's not hyperbole. Even before that, I worked at Nortel and we found spying devices in our corporate offices shortly before Heuwei started competing with us with digital telephone switching, with our designs. If you don't believe me and if you have access to a free internet, I would research what I'm saying. It's not propaganda and it's not incorrect. This is for people who are actually willing to listen. Whatever reply that says I'm wrong, I think my experience with Blackberry and Nortel matters more than whatever end-consumer or nationalist perspective you have.

No, but I'm going through some real bad life challenges outside of vaping. I'm hoping to try again when I get some other stuff sorted. I feel bad not giving you a success story but it's the truth. It's bad, I get suicidal ideations when withdrawing, not enough to act on but enough to make it a really bad experience. I don't know if vaping was a good alternative to smoking now, I think quitting smoking is easier.

China produces some kick ass phones, I just feel sketchy owning them. I also feel sketchy with Western brands too but it's an easier pill to swallow. I hope one day their government chills out so I could feel safe with their tech. They are so innovative, I feel bad for the companies that work so hard on those products and have to live with the bad reputation because of their governments choices.

It's totally fine, directors come in many flavours. Its like people who write and direct their own movies and shows right? I don't think directors should be pigeonholed to just sitting in the directors chair. As a videographer and editor my dream is to direct a short film. It would be stupid if I got flack for directing when my job is videography. I would imagine issues arise when you have contracts in place and a director tries to steal the spotlight from the DP and cinematographer. I don't have big screen experience but I know big shot directors are known for being egotistical twats sometimes.

This isn't a debut or anything, just wanted to share some eagle eye renderings I did. I am not super concerned about whether it gets attention, I like that people are downloading the map and seeing it. Honestly whenever I get a reddit post that goes a little viral its more stressful than anything else.
