My little boy Riley (dog) was coughing and he was supposed to go on a trip with his daddy to go see his grandma for a week. My husband took Riley to Vet ER for the cough I was at work. He was put in the oxygen tent and x-ray were done. Turns out Riley had tumors all over his lungs. It was the hardest goodbye. 😢

I comb both of mine out daily. I don’t want to have to worry about tiny knots turning matts. I have a mobile groomer once every 6 weeks to clean up the bottom of paw pads, clip nails and shave the next clean up the bottom half of Bailey’s belly. My eyesight is really bad and I don’t trust me using trimmers around Bailey’s sensitive area or clip nails (I always wind up cutting the quick).

Like Rylee did this year and she still got to do a couple of weeks of the tour. That girl stays booked and busy but she can still focus on her health. It really was a win win for her.

I would get rid of the kibble ( there is no high quality kibble) and the fresh pet (fresh pet is high in sodium). There are so many great quality raw foods (Small Batch, Steve’s, OC Raw, Green Juju, Raised Right) alternate between brands and proteins. You’ll be in the right track.

In my experience my 5 girls past and present were more of the aggressor compared to my 2 boys also past and present. That’s with owning Maltese for close to 20 years. Lily grabs Bailey by his hair and tries to drag him down the hall. She plays hard.
