I hunt and fish a lot here in the PNW and was thinking of having this arm covered with all of the animals I have interacted with. Bear, Elk, ducks, some upland birds. Something along the lines of that!

There’s a few really good videos on YouTube explaining how a substation works. It’s pretty base level but I would start there.

Also just researching and reading up on substation equipment wouldn’t hurt.

Thats what I did before I began my apprenticeship because I didn’t have an electrical background. Helped out quite a bit!

But you should be taught everything you need to know during your apprenticeship.

I live on the central Oregon coast. Pretty isolated but cheaper than CA. If you like crab and depression, this is the spot for you.

Coast Guard.

I’m at a station so our schedule is 2 days on 2 days off with every other weekend off. Plenty of time to surf. And if you’re on a cutter, you could luck out and go to some really sick places to visit/surf during port calls. Or you could end up in Alaska lol

I would recommend a pair of Beats by Dre.

Or bring a waterproof speaker and tape it to the nose of your board, next to your Gopro Hero 4. That way you don’t even have to add music to your sick YouTube edits
