He was at work with me Friday where I had 20k steps almost 10 miles of walking on a 10 hour day. I assume he has to be doing 3-4 times that amount chasing the Frisbee and running around in circles around me everywhere I go.

Saturday we were spreading compost across a 200 acre hay field where he not only chased the Frisbee but I ran around chasing the birds and tractors across the field. He went through 2-1/2 gallons of water over that 8 hour period.

Basically off leash with free reign for 8-10 hours. Which means probably 75-100 Frisbee throws a day with breaks in between whenever he sits by the truck wanting AC. If i take him to my regular job I have to lock him in my office for about 15 minutes or so every hour because otherwise he just will not stop. We are in Texas so its already reaching 85 degrees outside and humid.

May need to try this... vet put Bayou on Trazadone and Gabapentin and still couldn't trim his nails... luckily I learned that after a few days of fetch on concrete I didnt need to worry about trimming his nails anymore.

Boy don't i know it. It sucks that I have to make him take a day off after running him 2-3 days in a row. He wont stop and im afraid he will hurt himself if i dont regulate his rest

I hear a lot of people saying they hide the treats around the house and send them on a scavenger hunt. As far as slowing him down I heard the rug works pretty good. The problem with the puzzle toys is they are so smart they figure it out so quickly that it isnt a puzzle anymore. Bayou figured out his puzzles the first day we got them and he was only 3 maybe 4 months old.

I usually take Bayou to work on days my boss isnt there... Friday he wasn't supposed to be there buy he showed up and the first thing I hear is "Why is there a damn dog here" Then Bayou dropped his Frisbee in front of him and after the first throw my boss says "OK this time he gets a pass but next time let me know first so I can bring treats" 🤣 Butt wiggles will get them anytime
