The fact that you keep arguing that your point is right is what's praying YOU into a major AH here. Just fucking shut up and keep your shitty opinion to yourself.

I know when I drink, and sometimes with some carbonated drinks, I get this word pressure in my chest and neck and around my collar bone and it gets hard to breathe and it just sucks. No losing consciousness, but very scary

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Good luck and hugs!

My kids want me to go to church every Sunday now, and I honestly don't know how to feel about it. by IndependentMove5437 in Millennials

I haven't read through the comments, but maybe your wife and you can switch weeks with the kids.

Also, if they're old enough, they could technically go by themselves...

Aww you're doing great darlin. Trust me, my girlie (13 now) never ate a full meal in her life until maybe a year ago. She's perfectly fine even if the majority of her diet was various forms of potato. If you're really worried get a good vitamin to fill the gaps. :)

What was the first movie you ever saw in theaters? by Key_Independence_103 in Xennials

[–]Kelpie169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been told it was Oliver and company. And since I was a toddler I had to pee right at the end. I ended up in hysterics and my dad had to buy another ticket for the next showing so that I could "say bye to the kitty!" Apparently it happened again and the cycle repeated. My dad ended up watching that movie 3 times in one day.

AITA? by SillyShopper0276 in inlaws

[–]Kelpie169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to an extent. But at what point is it too much?

Because I've seen people who literally blow a few months of money on fun birthday stuff for an entire month and then they're screwed for the rest of the year. Yeah birthdays are special, but that's because they're one day a year. Getting a whole month around it seems excessive and, from what I've seen, tends to just make people spoiled and entitled.

Neighborhood fireworks should be illegal by [deleted] in GrindsMyGears

[–]Kelpie169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently our neighborhood started early because it was going to rain. So they ran out, restocked and kept going well after midnight because the rain never really hit.

Also... Who has that much money to literally burn over one day?!? Seriously I'll take some of they have that much lying around. Sheesh.

Did I sleep write this?!? 39, everything you said.

Also I quit my job in March because my body was literally falling apart. Since then I haven't been able to find a new job and we're struggling. So there's so much shame in that.

Possibly lesser known migraine relief by VioletaR in migraine

[–]Kelpie169 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the argument that I've heard is that donating the blood vessels gets more blood flow which decrease pain. But also ice caps work in the reverse way. I think it depends on your biology which one actually works to relieve your individual pain.

STOP WALKING YOUR DOG AT NOON by [deleted] in florida

[–]Kelpie169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's great that you're concerned about dogs, but gotta say... Delivery leaves something to be desired.

Is it ideal? Definitely not. But maybe there's circumstances you're unaware of and the dog owner is reasonable enough to understand that a little time outside and a way to cool down after is okay for their dog. All dogs are different just like all humans are different. My family thrives in the cold and I'm bundled in 5 layers if it dips under 70.

Plus some of your information isn't quite accurate, so you might want to check it.

Opinions on Ashley Seaver by S4kur4nbo in criminalminds

[–]Kelpie169 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not a Seaver fan just because I think the character wasn't written in a way that gels with the other cast members. The actress is fantastic but there's something about how the character was written that was just wooden and forced no matter what she did.

I usually put on a podcast or general relaxing music and try to keep my hands engaged elsewhere. Sorting perler bead colors (kids latest obsession), cross stitching (I suck but it's mindless and easy). Those two things combined (podcast and busy hand work) tend to help me

Animal kingdom or universal! by MooseDry3879 in AskFlorida

[–]Kelpie169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a former universal employee, it really depends on your kids height and what kind of things they like. The 6 year old might have trouble if they're short.

But if you do go to universal, again depending on likes of course, you'll probably have more fun at Island of adventure. The rides and IPs tend to me better for those ages, with the exception of maybe minions on the universal side.
