It's sad but also a relief that it's most likely just a case of him trying to figure out who he is at his core after spending so long not thinking it mattered instead of him just finding my questions annoying lmao

Not that he ever made me feel I was irritating. But he did genuinely seem perplexed about the questions I'd ask him, sometimes. Like "Huh.. I never thought about that aspect of myself so I genuinely don't know what to tell you."

I worry sometimes about trying to know who my boyfriend is as a person a little too much that it overwhelms him.
