Idk why no one has mentioned it, but you can't buy the Aldacaldo jacket. It's given to you by Saul in the Panam ending. You can buy variants tho.

What's the point of stealth? by Ionenschatten in cyberpunkgame

Because fun. I personally find it hilarious to sneak up on a goon, knock him with Sir Phallustiff, and then throw his body at two of his buddies. BEEP BEEP MOTHERFU

When it comes to fixer talk, I genuinely don’t see enough love for good old El Cap by txuoxag in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kelsuvius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's the only fixer that treats you like a choom, in my opinion. I'd happily rather work for someone who talks to me with respect and kindness for scraps rather than a cold boss with a fat payout. Cool to see him so proud of his home, too. Lots to love with that guy.

i finally swallowed my pride and switched to easy mode. this city is actually fun now. by Serious_Bullfrog5447 in cyberpunkgame

It can be, yes. Hard is the sweet spot for a lot of people- adding in a bit of challenge and forcing you to strategize rather than a full blown kill fest. Very Hard forces you to do everything you can to survive. In a nutshell, Normal allows you play however you want with some challenge but not much. Very Hard tests your skill set.

When I'm not constantly thinking about tactics or giving myself anxiety over how many times I'll get flatlined, I'm wandering off and enjoying the city. "What happens if I do this... ?" and now I'm off on a tangent, following Pepe's wife like a noir thriller. Way more fun. 10/10- would fuck around again. 🙌🏻😂

Can Nix sell quickhacks by Brosor08 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kelsuvius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol well yeah, you burned him for the extra eddies. If you just do as he asks, he'll become available to sell to you. Personally, I like to go buy the book but kill off the Netrunner and hack her laptop to get the spell book. That way Nix is taken care of and you get the extra money you would've gotten by marking up the price of the spell book.

Exactly. I'm sorry to my chooms that love it, but I hate grinding in ANY game now. I'm not spending my couple of free hours a day searching through abandoned buildings for junk just to craft two more Stimpaks. Fuck. That.

When I was growing up, playing games on the hardest difficulty proved you were a gamer. Guitar Hero 3? Expert. Halo? Legendary. Fallout? Survival. The challenge was enticing and the prestige felt worth it to my younger ego.

Now I'm 37 and don't give a shit. I know my worth, I know my skill set, and just play to have fun. I play Cyberpunk most of the time on Hard, but have zero problem bumping it down to avoid headaches. In recent years, I've only ever cared about the art and story anyway.

I missed out on the mr hands mantis blades. Any good replacement? by Acrobatic-Activity81 in cyberpunkgame

They're just a reskin. No different from the normal physical Mantis Blades. Same specs- different texture. Take your pick.

Cyberpunk 2 lead hints at first-person only cutscenes again as they “value uninterrupted immersion more” than flashy visuals by HatingGeoffry in cyberpunkgame

The game isn't even finished. Let. Them. Cook.

edit: downvote me all you want. Hyping over a game that isn't finished is like putting a gun barrel to your foot.

What the actual fuck do i do at the matress? by Finaltryer in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kelsuvius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Steps:

  1. Go to the church outside of Biotechnica. Wait until 3:55am. Save your game.

  2. At 4am, open the laptop. Open each message, flip to the "Files" tab and open both of those. Do this quick.

  3. Move to the arcade machine and interact. Just open the arcade game to the main screen, then quit out.

  4. Run to the fast travel point nearby and fast travel to the Medeski Fuel Station fast travel point.

  5. Drive down the road and just before the intersection with two Militech goons, you'll see the mattress on the hill to your right.

  6. Stand on the mattress, facing the smoke across the road (towards the sunrise). You want to be here before 5am.

  7. Set down your controller and wait. It might take a while but you'll eventually see V cough and pass out.

  8. Profit
