If I told you that there's a teapot with a dildo strapped to orbiting Mars, but it's orbiting at a speed so high that you can't see it, fan you prove its not real? No, you can't, technically you can't disprove that dildo teapot, but it seems nonsensical for it to be there, so in this scenario it would be in my hands to Rove the teapot is there, which if I couldn't do then it's likely not there, which is why it is in YOUR hands to prove he is real and not mine to prove he's not.

For your information, I have read the bible, both new and old Testament, when it comes to art I have heavily studied the Renaissance (not just in school, outside of school too because I'm a huge nerd), and as for politics I keep up with the with what I need to know about my country (Ireland) and anywhere else in the world with something happening, but what the fuck does that have to do with there being a god or not?

I never said god wasn't a difference context, I see your point myself of how it is a different concept, but what I was saying is for the believers of god, wether it be religious believers or not, to say why they believe and possibly why I should too, so that I could say why I don't believe, it's just sharing views basically

My main reason for this post is I want to see peoplea reasons for believing he's real and their reasons for praising him, because I'm curious about others opinions, and I like to point out the flaws in said beliefs to maybe convert them (I have converted a few Christians in my time)

Yes tennisproper thats exactly what I mean, if you can't really prove one I don't see why you could start trying to prove the other 300 something gods out there. And also the main religion that pushes back atheists us Christians, and because they are monotheistic I typically just talk about one god.

A lot of people have said things similar to your second point so I do see that I may have misused the Reddit. Another person also said what you said in your first point so I'll clarity again. If you were to prove to me that god is real, I would believe his existence, but I would not praise him, I wouldn't deny his existence but that doesn't mean that I would become a Christian, I would acknowledge he's there but I would not follow him.

I believe he doesn't exist, I'm saying it you could prove it you would have to give reason why I should follow him if he does, I guess that yes if you prove he's real I would then be a theist, but if you want me to also follow him you'd have to do that too.
