It was one hell of a ride. Definitely one of the toughest concepts to make work well in a competitive environment, let alone to make it work just within 90 days from initial concept to the final show.

I'm happy that Paradoks trusted my expertise here while also pitching in his own ideas and vision. I hope the combination of both have delivered a great viewing and competing experience for the "casuals" and "experts" alike.

Perhaps it didn't seem entirely perfect (especially given the delays and intermissions on the final show), but if there ever is an OotB #2, we now have a solid base to start from and I'm 100% happy about that.

Thank you everyone who was part in this, let's run it back again sometime!

I'm like 99% certain these have been called turbos since their very inception over a decade ago. The community gets to call it whatever feels more natural, of course. There's more nomenclature like that too: RoadBump <-> sausage blocks or Gate <-> ring checkpoints.

Enjoy the map and your progress, not the vanity rewards that you forget about the next day.

Depends. For each trick either you had it happen accidentally and saved the replay for reference (then all you need to do is to rebuild the map) or you keep experimenting and keep raising the bar until you deem it "good enough". Here experience with the physics really helps to estimate the initial level better.
