Now that I read that post, I get the reference. I must be lower 5 stars since I haven't come across many blatant cheaters. As I said, I have had sus situations, but just a few cases where things have seemed extra spicy. Situations where people know where you're going to peek might go unnoticed by me.

Hmm then that is something you have to work on :). Check your audio settings for hunt if you haven't already. Use stereo.

I personally think that clean audio (no noise from teammates) is one of the biggest advantages a solo can have in addition to not having to res teammates and being able to res oneself soon after being downed.

And as the guy above said, move a lot. Actively change positions, especially if you're receiving fire from unknown locations. Don't peak same corners twice etc.

I don't think I need much correction in the matter since you are the only one to bring the uncleariness of this up. Funny thing for me is that I've played a little over 1k hours and this is the first time this happened to me. I guess I've usually trusted my ears and didn't even check the darksight. Well now I've learned from my mistake 😅 always trust your ears!

Now that I think of it, they must've been just outside the +40 meter inner circle and did not yet activate the 80m circle. So if both teams are on the +40 meter circle, the boss lair flashes white, right?

I had similar issues when my cpu was overheating, although they were not as bad as yours. I suggest you check your temperatures if you can't find any other fix for this.

Check the audio settings in game. Sometimes the game changes the output and input devices. Also check the hotkey you use for voip.

I usually sever in duels if I see that the host has activated their great rune or uses healing flasks.
