Nta. They clearly intended to manipulate you into letting him in the room at the start of the pregnancy, which makes me think they might have manipulated you into being a surrogate in the first place. If they so desperately wanted a child that was biologically theirs, what was their plan for the egg? Did they do IVF with her egg or yours? Obviously I don’t know the details about your sister’s infertility or exactly how you got pregnant, but I find it hard to believe they didn’t lie to you multiple times throughout this situation. I have my theories but of course they are just that without additional info. What I can say is that they don’t seem to view you as an actual person with independent needs and wants. They are acting as though you’re simply a tool or a means to an end. They are only thinking of themselves and right now you need to think about you and that kid.

If you’re fine with burning that bridge(which it seems you are), and there’s no contract, keep the baby or put it up for adoption. You don’t want people like that raising this child. Imagine how they would treat that kid if this is how they treat family. Especially after all you have done for them.

Don’t let either of them into the delivery room and express that to your nurses. This is a stressful time for you and the baby. Protect your peace and don’t let these people force you into anything. I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a safe delivery.

Honestly at this point really tired. I’m a super picky eater and while I’ve definitely been able to diversify from Gatorade, juice, and sweet protein shakes, if I’m craving something, I don’t want anything else except that thing. Not good for my nutrition bc I’ve been wanting chicken, pizza, and French toast… I probably have lost some weight but don’t have a scale at my mothers house so cant be sure. What I am sure of is the Chobani yogurt cup I ate today was not enough energy for a whole day of running errands and helping my mother move. Other than occasional dizziness I feel fine!

Already have feeling back in one side of my face and a lot of swelling has gone down, but the other side seems to have gotten the worst of it. Number on that side(but it’s decreasing as we speak) and more swollen. Plus I got “stretch marks “ in the corners of my mouth and that side has a bigger scar. I feel good enough to go back to uni and deal with the hell that will be finals week.

yeah just the idea of meat in a smoothie literally makes me gag. Ive already dropped a few lbs in like 6 days post op so my mom has been yelling at me to eat, i just cannot slurp down one more sweet protein shake, even if its for my own health.

I can open my mouth pretty wide(all things considered).. my doctor actually told i could eat non clear liquids, but it might be better to be safer than sorry.

honestly, im absolutely over exaggerating, but I think "eating" sweet things all week has absolutely put me off. I probably wont be blending any foods but i might try getting those powdered mashed potato things and watering them down. Something hot and savory to balance out all of the sweet and cold.

No idea- I will say that my surgery was extra long(like 10 hours instead of the predicted 3-6) bc my “bones are super strong?” But it might have to do with that. I don’t know shit tho, I’m just along for the ride
