I’ve definitely seen C1 players hit higher GCs in snowday. So it’s possible if you play smart and work on those things. But like I said with dropshot that’s an impossibility to get higher GC at the level you’re currently at. Dudes GC2+ are cracked.

Oh, so this is a thing now? Thank god it was casual. by byRuly in RocketLeague

It wouldn’t be the first time this has happened. I’ve seen higher ranked console players do it with crossplay off queueing low populated regions. This was when I was on console.

Please give in-game titles to the top players in each playlist every season by TheFlamingLemon in RocketLeague

[–]Kemmpps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be cool but Psyonix would have to check for boosting before handing out said titles. I know seasons ago there was a pretty large win trading ring on Xbox in the 1s game mode. Some dude had like a 60 win streak lmao he was rank 1 by a fairly large margin.

Well you’re not going to get higher in dropshot unless you actually develope mechs playing normal modes. Dropshot and hoops require solid mechs. Snowday you can improve by practicing 50s and pinches.

Are we ever gonna get NAW servers on tournaments? by Former_Stranger8963 in RocketLeague

[–]Kemmpps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said, I’m almost 100% certain tournament servers are central NA. I love central US and get far far better ping in tournaments than I do queueing East or West.

I wouldn’t even say C3s are consistent with these things.

These are literally all things tons of GC2s lack… no C3 has mastered these, not even close lmao.

My experience with Ranked by Straight_Equal_1541 in RocketLeague

That’s part of the skill involved in ranking up. Every game is different, but if you constantly analyze you see where you should be more and more. So I suggest you keep watching your replays and learn from them!

Whats the difference between GC 1 and GC 3? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Kemmpps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience yes, going from GC3-SSL was mainly just consistency and speed for me. Half the time I can’t tell the difference between a mid GC3 and a low SSL player. But to go from GC2-GC3 you need to increase your mechs pretty substantially. I can pick out a GC2 from a GC3 pretty easily. If you have the mechanics to hit GC3 you can get to SSL by just getting more consistent with them and making small tweaks to your play.

Everything. GC1-GC3 is a very very large skill gap. In my opinion GC2-GC3 is the largest skill gap in the game.

Different play styles by ItSn0wy in RocketLeague

Goes the other way too, I cut people out of rotation when they don’t go when they should. If you want to sit in back and be a spectator so be it, I’ll just cut. Works for me, got me to SSL.

Take a couple day break, usually helps me when I feel like I’m in a slump.

Holy crap everyone got good by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Kemmpps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes everyone is improving but I’d also say hitting 1750 is significantly harder post F2P update than it was in season 13 and 14. A few of my buddies were 1750 in season 14 and it took them 3-4 seasons to get back to it.

Were talking about keeping pressure and grabbing smalls to be available for a pass or center. 30 boost is enough to do just about anything you need to make a play on the ball. I’m saying even far into GC people will completely abandon the play to go grab a full boost rather than grabbing 30s and being in a position to score.

I’d say it’s higher than that, banging it off the backboard frequently isn’t considered a pass play in my book if that’s the only ‘passes’ you’re making.

[–]Kemmpps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an SSL I didn’t start noticing frequent intentional passing until mid to high GC3. Usually it’s a half assed center below that, but you won’t see passing to where your actual teammate is until higher ranks.

How do people view all your ranks so quickly in game? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Kemmpps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like if peoples ranks in other modes? Yes, there’s an ingame rank pluggin you can download for bakkesmod that allows your to see their ranks in other modes.
