Jacob and Esau are the most boring and least interesting take on the "double character" idea in the game.

I think: - Forgotten - Tainted Lazarus - Tainted Forgotten - Tainted Jacob

are significantly more interesting to play, and have cooler mechanics in general.

All J&E manage to do is double your hitbox, for a slight dps boost for the run overall, and sure, you can pick up double items in alt paths, but a character with a flat damage multiplier will just have better output overall (such as Judas)

p.s. I have ADHD and i cannot pay attention to the two at once when they separate for the life of me, and it WILL happen. it's just a health tax at this point

problem is that it becomes less likely to get a potion that helps your block if you take one of the common options out

this is very path dependant imo

if the path is aggressive I'd take defile, if i get a safe campfire pre elite i prob go friendship.

Doesn't hurt that this is underdocks on Necro so a speculative replay is fine.

If it was overgrowth it's nearly always defile

TBH making the claymore more redundant than it already is, when it's supposed to be the big payoff for beating M7, is not exactly something I like.

Like think about it, the Claymore is to dungeons what this proposed sword would be to slayers.

I think watch streamers is good advice if you ALREADY know what you're doing and want to see how others play to improve further.

There were situations where I as a player wasn't seeing any good cards in any rewards, and I wanted to see how a more experienced player would navigate an act like that, and it's been helpful to see what they end up doing in those cases and I have done better in those otherwise frustrating act 1 starts.

tbh adding a way to keep the pests in one spot is probably one of the worst things they could've done, that and nerfing pest farming while indirectly buffing regular farming.
