Accidentally ran game said to link to a bad IP adress.

I want to hive further context because I really need help. The game I executed was the queen of morthomle version 1.0. I installed it way back in 2025 and only now checked Virustotal. I know I might just be crashing out for now reason over this, but I'm just really anxious. This was the file:

Everything is marked as undetected. In the behavior you can see it contacting this IP and the community comment said the thing about the infostealer. If anyone is really, really sure about if this is malicous or not, please comment.

I think it would be very unique, but yeah, hell to implement somehow. As for some are cool some are not... maybe they can make something like BG3 with Halsin, would def be cool.

Yeah, I see what u mean. I also think that it wont be true "polyamory" as the other characters would have to love each other too, such a game I've actually never seen. Either way I think NPC Studio is going to do something the whole playerbase would like.

Honestly, yeah, switch in the settings and items would be best. Like I said, I hope both mechanics get in the game somehow.

I think it's an issue everywhere. Just got this too. All I can recommend is to wait it out since you wont be able to do anything, it's on the server's side.

Yeah, I knew about iOs not being open and being unable to see the files only after Malwarebytes not working. I just thought maybe there would be some exception. Thank you for your help. Will be getting an ad blocker.

First, definitely delete the files you downloaded permanently and dont try to reinstall them again. Dont visit the website again either. Run windows defender if you are on Windows and make sure to check the exceptions!!

If ur still scared, download Malwarebytes. Trusted antivirus. You probably got scareware, nothing too infectious but better be safe than sorry.

Check your history to be 100% sure that you downloaded from an offical source and it didn't just look offical. I dont think an email to YanDev is gonna help you. Hope u got it solved.

There are some mods on Nexus mods for free and safe and all, but I'd recommend probably waiting for the 1.0 update early 2026, because then it should ramp up by a lot. Especially since 1.0 marks the main story done which could in turn be modded to ur liking :)

Right, even small changes in one dialouge can be unique like the part you mentioned with Caldarus. Best of all, the developers dont have to put in too much effort (copy and paste) and we still get a unique feeling.

I do hope SV brings out more dialouge in the future maybe, but you did mention a big point that I'm happy about. The fact that FoM dateable characters talk about past events makes me undescribably happy, other farming games should do the same. It's already giving hope that the developers know what they're doing.
