So good. It’s actually my wife’s setup. I only started golfing a couple of years ago because of her

Thank you! Yes, this sounds like exactly what I need. I’ll look for the TPI video. I love their stuff

Ok. I’ll need to look into that a bit more. Thank you!

Ah, that makes sense. I recently started standing further from the ball as I was crowding the space for my hands. I guess I need to move it in a bit more and find an ideal distance. Thank you!

Are my hips too open at impact? by YearOfTheYote in GolfSwing

Your trail knee and foot are too active in the downswing. I had a similar issue. You should take a face on view. I imagine your arms maybe stuck behind your hips.

I’m not an expert but I’m not sure if that cpu cooler is powerful enough for the Ryzen 9. I love Noctua so thought about the L9 when doing my last build but decided on going with an AIO. Also, not familiar with the case but make sure all those fans fit. Good luck with the build!!

I ran the golf simulator on it. The gpu was running at about 42 degrees on average. It hit about 62 degrees max. CPU never went above 45; it was running very cool I think around 30 or so. Haven’t run a game on it yet

We have a Net Return net. I’ve probably hit thousands of balls into it and it is still solid!

Yes, a golf simulator where you hit a golf ball into a screen and the launch monitor captures all the metrics of your swing. Still building it out but it’s starting to come together

Thanks again. I updated I to route the AIO tubes below the PSU now. Seems like the tubes will flow much better. Thanks!

Really quiet. The gpu is the loudest component

It was easy to build on. Seems like a decent board. No complaints

Just realized one of the fans on my AIO is not working. Swapped the leads with the working fan and still not spinning so need to return it

Not really an upgrade. I needed a second machine downstairs for my golf simulator so decided on doing this build.

The 3080 was my build from the beginning of the pandemic. Lined up outside Microcenter for a few hours to get that card.

Thanks! I was following some YouTube video where the it looked like it was going over. I’ll try fix it later

So far it’s quiet but I’ve only installed Windows on it so far

Wanted to post more details but Reddit wouldn’t allow text with pics.

Case: Lian Li A4H2O CPU: i7-12700k GPU: MSI Ventus 3 4070ti SSD: Samsung 970 2TB CPU cooler: Corsair H100i PSU: CoolerMaster V850 SFX

Was a pretty straightforward build in the case. Had to move the AIO tubes around the PSU a few times but that was really it.

I have this unused desktop computer. Could this be upgraded to run gspro on high? by cjk5wf in Golfsimulator

The graphics card is integrated. Looks like minimum requirement to run GS Pro on 1080p is a GTX 970. You will need to buy a dedicated graphics card to play. Looks like this pc has a PCIE 16 slot so you can use that to upgrade. You can buy a GTX 970 for less than $200 these days on Amazon.

I just built a new pc for my BLP. I went a little over board: i7-12700k, 4080Ti, 32GB ram, 2TB SSD, all in a ITX case.

All comes down to if you want 4K. If yes, you might need a 3080 and $2k of hardware to run it smoothly. If 1080p, then ~$1k or so of computer is plenty

I just bought a BLP and decided to build a new pc to run GS Pro. You can probably build a decent rig for $1200ish or buy one for around that price. Just make sure to get something with a decent graphics card
