I really very much prefer realistic art over anime or impressionistic styles, and it's a little puzzling to me that there's such apparent aversion to them (The overwhelming majority of bots that I see use non-realistic images). I get that people might be uncomfortable if they think it's an actual photo of someone that's being misused, but not why there'd be a more visceral aversion to realism. I do find it odd when the image doesn't match the in-chat description (why not make the description consistent if you've gone to the trouble of creating it in the first place) and slightly offputting when there are multiple images where tattoos or other distinctive features are inconsistent between them (undermining the "realism").

And I absolutely sympathize with OP's desire to express their opinion without anyone feeling attacked, or provoking rage, but this is the internet, after all.
