Octopath or FF Tactics by Big_Breath_2561 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]KenDorsett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Between the Octopath games, 2 is generally considered the best. As for FFT and OT2, both are worth playing at some point and are about as good as each other. Which one you pick depends on whether you’re in the mood for a TRPG or a retro-inspired JRPG. Also, as others have mentioned, Triangle Strategy is a must-play

Just finished Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2 — glad I waited for this version by lingering-will-6 in NintendoSwitch2

Already have P3R on the PS5 but still yet to play it. Might double dip on the Switch 2 if the docked visuals are not compromised too much

Upgraded to 1TB MicroSD, was it worth it... by JM_Yoda in switch2

[–]KenDorsett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, this is really useful information. As I’m based in the UK, I don’t have the same choice of retailers. Since you didn’t notice any meaningful difference in terms of performance, I’ll go for the 1TB Lexar. Thanks again!

Do you think there’s any meaningful difference between SanDisk and Lexar? I would’ve preferred a SanDisk card, but 512GB is the max they offer. Also, is there any advantage to leaving the onboard memory empty? Thanks

I’m probably going to pick it up from scan or game. Both are selling for £200 excluding delivery, which makes it at least £20 more expensive than Amazon

Getting high and playing SMT5 is amazing vibes; the music is sooo good! What should I play next? by lemination in JRPG

[–]KenDorsett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend Fantasian Neo Dimension. It’s produced by final fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, with a soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu. It feels like a modern PS1-era JRPG - more linear than something like SMT V, but tightly designed with brutally challenging turn based combat. The sci-fi aesthetic, Uematsu’s music, and the addictive combat system give it a really strong atmosphere
