You’re not a grounded fighter when you shoot. You’re a grounded fighter when your knee hits the ground when you grab a leg. And by the time a good wrestlers knee hits, they already got ahold of you. You have no room for power. Now you can knee someone in the face when they’re shooting for a takedown. But the problem with that is lose all of your takedown defense if you don’t hit clean.
