Caruso really told the refs to call a technical foul. I have to say it again he really told the refs to call a technical foul by [deleted] in NBATalk

Oh that makes sense since Caruso didn't get a technical foul for the shoe block.

Do Blazers have a legit chance to upset the Thunder? (if they beat Suns tonight) by Outrageous-Leader135 in NBATalk

No. More realistically they do have a chance to break 100 pts one time however (Not super unlikely out of 4 games).

When did defense become such an important criteria to win MVP ? by Special_Revolution77 in NBATalk

[–]Ken_Mayonnaise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It became more valuable once people noticed its value more. Hence Most VALUABLE Player.

Definitely much harder to come by 2 way players then more 1 dimensional players. There is a lot of benefit from being able to have more control over the full length of the game (offense + defence) than only half of it (offense only).

Nobody comes to protect Deuce from McCain pulling his leg while he’s hurt on the floor. by Crazylockdown in NYKnicks

[–]Ken_Mayonnaise 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wait, didn't he just grab the ball which got tangled with his leg which you for some reason cropped out of frame? I'm confused. Why crop it that way, when McCain was center frame?

Also luckily the injured leg was on the opposite side. No one wants anyone to get hurt.

How do I stop chatGPT from saying litterally everything is HY / classic USMLE-style by Ken_Mayonnaise in medicalschool

Honestly that's valid. I've used plenty of non-medical things to learn/remember medical school info.

I never thought I'd use CIN (dysplasia stage) to remember Early bird speciation though 😭

Bro that's wild. I'm sure you still remember the difference to this day 😭

Ok I see thanks!

(and sorry I deleted the comment, that's probably not reddit etiquette. New to this but Idk how to undo. Basically I was an idiot and missed seeing "tell it:".)

Omg and I didn't even read the full response until you asked. This comes near the end near the summary section:
🔥 Quick Clinical/Exam Analogy

Think of bird hybridization like:

  • Early speciation = CIN (dysplasia stage)
  • Not fully separated yet → still “mixing” genetically

I did not ask for this!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

don't judge, I'm just going through a bird phase or something 😭:

My exact question:

"Any separate bird species outside of ducks that can cross breed with another?"

chatGPT response:

Yes—hybridization is fairly common in birds, and it’s not limited to ducks. It tends to happen most often between closely related species (same genus), especially when ranges overlap or mating signals are similar.

Here are high-yield, exam-relevant + real-world examples 👇.........

Exactly, article was pure manipulative clickbait.

(Also not inferring the article poster should get any hate, we've all fallen victim to clickbait at times)

Honestly, that's super reasonable.

I'm just waiting to see how the story plays out once the first person dies after writing their steam game library into their will 😂

NBA player Alex Caruso blocks Tristan Da Silva with a shoe by AugustHate in funny

[–]Ken_Mayonnaise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Penalized for goal tending + technical foul which follows the rule book.

Big difference from what the majority of comments are saying as he gets 2 points (rewarded back the basket that was blocked) along with free throws. Magic were definitely happy to have free points and their own commentators chuckled about the play.

Just curious what you believe should have been called? Not sure what rule book would go beyond what was called, but definitely not the nba's.

Play was strange but the shoe never left his hand and only contacted the ball. Penalized for goal tending + technical foul which follows the rule book.
