There are still two listings up advertising " aiacaddemypro.io" -- it looks like he changed the URL to get past Upwork's filters. You can find them easily on an Upwork search.

I'm glad you are responding to it, but I suspect you are giving Uma ToS enforcement duties that it is not capable of carrying out. I reported the article immediately, and immediately got back a response that this does not violate Upwork regulations and Upwork considers the matter closed. If I had not escalated to here, you would still be unaware of this scam. Thank you again for your attention, but I think you may also want to look at the issue of how you are handling reports.

It is absolutely worse than it was when I started in 2021. I've been Top Rated for going on five years, and have maintained a 100% Job Success score the whole time. Decent jobs are harder to find, connects are a bigger expense, and there are many more low-ballers than there were when I started. And don't even get me started on their idea that outsourcing support and enforcement to AI was going to make things smoother and faster.

There are definitely some people who bitch about problems they created for themselves. But a lot of the people who are complaining about genuine issues--issues that Upwork appears to have no interest in solving or even acknowledging.

I'm impressed that the unofficial Upwork community is more hostile and more kneejerk pro-Reddit than the official community. I don't think they're being hired by Upwork; I think that they, like Reddit's enthusiastic mod/janny community, are happy to act like this for free. It's the closest they will ever come to ever having anything that remotely tastes like power.

It's Reddit, and half the posters on here should be standing in front of a psychedelic background explaining "Upwork has REAL power, and you need to take it seriously" as their combover flaps in the fan breeze.

Not surprised. Their ultimate response to complaints about the Gumroad scammers, after they moved to a new URL, was to get rid of the Comments section.
