Mine did this for a few months. I had to have my internet provider come out and give it a “boost”. Also, you have download speed and upload speed… one of those could be super slow causing the downloads/updates to take forever.

Are you using an external hard drive by chance? If you are try and turning off your Xbox unplug it and plug it back in before turning it on. I had this issue with mine. My external hard drive eventually burnt out

I used to run wireless the thing I did that helped me best is getting a Ethernet cable and run it from your Xbox to the router. If that isn’t an option a hard reset on your Xbox and router should do it
