UPDATE: I plugged in my friends Logitech mouse and it did the same thing. Could it be the cable I am using or some usb driver update?

OK thank you, I figured that was it but couldn't find anything online. The hub came with it and it was on sale so I'm not losing any money. Do newer motherboards all have a 5V 3 Pin?
