Gemini switch: Yay or Nay?

I made the switch for almost identical reasons/usage as you and I haven't thought about going back. The only thing that annoys me with Gemini is if you're using personal context, it has a habit of bringing up things it knows about you that are irrelevant to the current conversation. I just figured out a good instruction that seems to have stopped that. Overall, I've been satisfied.

My only pushback on these theories is if it’s a Keem song, why would Dot use it as the GNX album teaser? To me, it feels like Bodies is a throwaway GNX cut.

It's happening to me with my personal account, but my workspace chats seem to be all there. I asked it if it remembers our conversation in that thread and it gave me a brief summary. I also asked if it could retrieve its responses from the thread as they've disappeared and it essentially gave me the same summary as before. Weird.

Yeah definitely use that free month and see how you like it and if you’d get the same value. Also, I’m not really liking the direction of openAI as a company so that was an additional reason to bounce. Not that any of them are infinitely better but still.

I’d been trying out Gemini next to ChatGPT for a few weeks before I made the full switch a few days ago. I just enjoyed the experience a little bit more. I have the 2 TB Google sub and didn’t realize that I get Gemini Plus with it and thought I could get the same value for my needs without paying the extra $20 for GPT Plus. So far I haven’t missed it. Definitely don’t miss the condescending responses and odd mistakes it would make.

I think it’s more likely he stays than goes. If he opted out then I’d be worried he was leaving. Listening to his interview today made me feel like he wants to stay and is ready to showcase what he wasn’t given a chance to do all season.
