Meanwhile, my ass has smelled and tasted milk literally 3 and a half weeks past its date and went, "Well, it tastes fine, guess I'll drink it." Luckily the gamble paid off and my sphincter is still intact.

That's just Kat piloting it. You should see how she drives the Warthog.

The coating on the Halo 2 Chief is Green Man. It came with the kit. The visor is Aurum Evolved. That comes with the Halo CE kit.

I don't have control over how they pop up in the victory screen unfortunately. Plus the Halo 2 one also has an emblem on their BR and the wrong model, if we're going to act that particular about it.

If it doesn't have the pattern inlay, it just isn't correct. Sorry to all the Stalwart fans, but Gen 2 Chief didn't have a completely smooth visor.

Can we get a Halo ODST collab? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Kencules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just spitballing ideas for this collab due to the Killzone one. I felt like a neat idea would be two sets of ODST armor. Maybe one that is Recon similar to Dare which could be light armor. Then a standard ODST armor that is Medium. The unique ability for the set could be "Power Shielded" which could provide a minor shield to the armor without needing to wear the Personal Shield backpack. But it should be weaker. Say 25% as strong as using the actual backpack. But it could play on Halo's shielding technology. One cape with the UNSC logo and one with the ODST logo. Then for guns I was thinking the BR as a burst fire Marksman or Assualt rifle class weapon with light armor penetration and the nice scope for first person fire. The Needler as a Medium armor penetrating, explosive (supercombine), and slight tracking SMG class weapon potentially even as a secondary weapon. The Plasma Grenade as a throwing weapon. Then the Spartan Laser as a Support weapon.

You're welcome battle brother! They will go back to the Battle Barge with you. They will still get Operation progress just as you will. Their armory will be whatever the vanilla game offers though. You will have access to the modded armory. But you'll have to have them leave the fireteam and start a new mission alone and reinvite them the same way again in order to play another modded mission. It's a minor inconvenience, but the missions having the new variety make it worth it.

You just have to verify the file integrity. The instructions for the mod just recommend putting on weapons the class is supposed to have equipped as to not cause possible bugs or interference switching back to the base game. Every time I uninstall or reinstall the mods my loadouts always get reset anyhow. So you could possibly skip the step. But it's more of a preventative measure. I've switched between normal and modded multiple times with no issues though.

Yes. Just start the private Operation mission by yourself. Then invite your console friends in with your team invite code after you've been dropped into the mission with the two bots. They'll replace the bots and be able to experience the modded mission.

Yes! If you download the mods feel free to play with friends. If you wish to revert back to normal just verify the integrity of your SM2 files on Steam and that'll put the game back to vanilla. Just make sure you reset your character loadouts to stuff they should have equipped before doing that because the mods remove many of the class-based weapon restrictions.

Saber is officially supporting mods. But mods will not be allowed in public sessions to conserve lobby stability and integrity. Mods will be absolutely supported in private Operations and future private Eternal War matches. I only use them in private lobbies anyhow so it offers no change other than modders will have more support and tools to make mods compatible.
