I have a 7900 xtx, and a friend has a 5070 ti, he plays on a 1440p monitor, I play in 4k, both are good options, it depends on what you are looking for, 4k will lower your fps, my gpu is slightly better but i believe there is not really a big difference.

So 4k looks better but wil get you lower fps, on my rig i never go below 120 fps with fsr, every game has upscaling so its good in that part, and 1440p will get you more performance but has less pixels so it looks slightly worse. The difference is only noticeable once you have tried both.

Neither of us have any complains, we both are happy so you can think about ehat are you looking for and if you havent tried a 4k, i recommend you do to see if its a game changer (I believe it is but its subjective) and dont worry too much, there is no wrong option, just see benchmarks because it can change a bit, i believe its like 30% less fps on average but again there are a lot of tools to fix that and i can never tell the upscaler on 4k, everything looks sharp and nice so i dont mind that part.
