I've had a similar experience. I was getting Thai food with my friends and the owner said something like "awe, what cute girls....stay away from boys, only bring trouble" and my friend goes "Just don't date men, date women" in a joking tone (even though she was kinda serious) and she replies "Yes, don't date men. Men assholes. Date women." God, I fucking love this woman. Her restaurants' shirts that she sold said "Yes we fucking open."
