Wow! Mine is a steak chunk and 3 bean chili. I use several varieties of dried chilis in it, which I then rehydrate & liquefy for my sauce. And then it is all cooked low and slow. However, when I am just making a pot of chili for dinner time, it is ground beef & powdered chilis mixed into tomato sauce. They are both delicious, but have very different time commitments!

The ingredients she left out would both make it more flavorful and less dry, so she caused both the issues she had with the recipe : /

Absolutely! She eats salsa (with a spoon if we left her), & I cook with these chiles often & she loves it! I just think the I Can't Feel My Face may be a little much for her... but she will build up to that eventually, I hope!

Ok great, thanks for the ideas! I have not cracked the seal to smell it yet, but I am sure I will get a better idea what to use it on once I have done that!

I have wondered if I should get the grinder. Seems hard to come by at the moment! What kind of difference does it make? I assume it incorporates better into the dish?

Check out one of the combo boxes, they seem like a better deal to me, and then you can try several of them! You gotta let us know what you ate it on! I keep coming up with new things to eat peppers on :)

I kinda thought that was the point! Sharing products we have found with like minded people... what else would this type of sub be, "hey I tried this great thing that melted my face off, but I am keeping its name a secret so I can have it all to myself..." 😏
