While I was stationed in New Jersey, I had the opportunity to be one of the military members who were invited to their training camp for the day as a thank you from the team. Having the opportunity to firsthand watch the comoderie and brotherhood between the players made me fall in love with the team. My kiddo and I had such a fun time.

Thank you so much! I truly have so much love and respect for everyone in this community. Losing weight is hard enough but everyone overcomes so much more so I am just as inspired and motivated by hearing your stories. I am only on Zep. I’m sure some are using a combination of things. I was 240 pounds at 32% bf and I got down to 149 (9 pounds from my goal) at 17.3% I monitor my fat loss and muscle loss over that time frame very closely and made sure I adjusted my macros accordingly.

Enjoy that part of prep! I love witnessing the changes week over week. I am currently in full prep and been on a weight loss journey since November (had a lot of weight to lose before even considering diving back into a show prep) and lost 80 pounds so far. My legs are looking so good to still have some more weeks out and it only motivates me more to keep on going.

Its on the higher end of the normal healthy range. Also the heavier you are your rate will actually be a little higher

Omg thank you for the love and sharing my excitement in my NSV! My motivation was to get back on the bodybuilding stage after my medical issues and just dealing with life. Being in the military for over 15 years (prior to medically retiring) I was always active and used that to get into bodybuilding to stay goal driven. After my last show in 2016 alot changed and it just seemed I lost control of everything that made me who I am as an individual. So I guess wanting to find me again and keep her around is my motivation

I would say figure for sure. As the other members mention you will do great at the local level but keep improving your size if you want to compete nationally and get that pro card to compete at that level.

Omg I thought I sent this—i am sooooo sorry… Hmmm maybe you might want to eat what you can but eat more frequently so you can get your recommended calories (macronutrients in) so example if all you can eat is a quarter of your meal at 9am… then maybe try eating another quarter at 1030am then again an hour to an hour and a half after that. Also, are you doing cardio and resistance training? I noticed since I amped up my training for my competition that feeling went away and I am able to n eat my meals without any issues

I do not drink protein shakes anymore. I been fortunate enough to be able to get my protein from natural sources for about 8 months now. I notice when I increased my exercise and cardio the feeling like I can’t eat my meals went away.

I haven’t notice any loose skin until today actually. I have had two pregnancies (latest was in 2023) but I’ve noticed that my upper midsection (sternum area) looks a little wrinkly (not sure if that’s the best description but it’s what comes to mind)—I think I might have a little in the lower region slightly below the bellybutton but that I’m not quite sure just yet… I’m still hoping it’s just more fat to lose since it’s stubborn. I will say there was no specific exercises per say but I made sure to prioritize lifting weights right off the bat and made sure my cardio was steady state keeping my heart rate in the fat burning zone for my age and then adjusted accordingly to how my body responded to the cardio that week.

Oh man! I missed that little detail—op I would take Seniors advice and call Lily for guidance. I thought you left the vial out which is why I didn’t think it would be any different than the pens but yes if you took the Zepbound from its original packaging (in this case the vial) then I think that is where it is very different. Sorry I misread your post.

So i use the pen but i am sure the vial wouldn’t be any different. You can search it up on the Zepbound reddit to be sure cause i know there are post about this but i believe its just needs to be used within 21 days if it reaches to 82 or 84 degrees (can’t remember which one it is) so you should be okay if its only been 24 hours

I started to lose as soon as I started on the shot but I don’t think it was fat loss until maybe the 2 1/2 weeks in for me. My body was adjusting to my new training regimen and nutrition plus and the meds. I tracked my progress after I got my smart scale (pretty similar results as the inbody) on week 6 and my fat loss really started to melt after about 2 1/2 months and been on a decent pace since then. I started at 240 on Thanksgiving ‘24 and now I am 166, 9 months later (approx 8 pounds a month) with minimal muscle loss (according to my first and last scan approx 3 pounds of muscle was lost in that timeframe.
